"My WHY Factor"

Why am I in college? I go to college so I can be well-rounded and articulate, find something I am truly passionate about every day, and excel as much as I can so I can find life's successes.

What gets me out of bed in the morning? I am a tough person to wake up so you know that the invisible forces I feel in the morning willing me to get out of bed must be strong and important. The fact that I have no idea what could happen on any given day, knowing new people and things and opportunities are always lurking around the next corner, and having the desire to find out who those people are and what those things and opportunities hold for me are what get me out of bed.

What gets me to class? People value what they put money and time into; college class is the perfect example. Kids, like myself going to class every day and earning good grades value their time and money-as they should because college shouldn't be taken lightly or wasted. Not only do I value my time and money but I also care about investing in myself. By earning greater knowledge and having something to take away with me at the end of classes motivates me a great deal.

What motivates me to have a job? I always seek job opportunities because I am looking for responsibility, self improvement and I want to feel like I am earning my way. Feeling valued and appreciated for my time and feeling like I have made a positive contribution all helps to motivate me as well.

The reason I do anything in a day are for goals of enjoying myself and making my time worthwhile and memorable for myself and for others I come across. This Why Factor is why I get out of bed in the morning, moved to Fort Collins for college, get to class on time and prepared, and look for jobs and other outlets for my time and passions.
